I'm Official

I have officially signed the membership book at the First UU Church!

Steve is not big on attending church, so he decided not to join.  Since he has conveniently decided to work every Sunday morning, it's probably for the best! It's actually a great activity for Wm and I do to while he's at work - we won't even know he's gone! He came to church this morning for my official signing in and reaffirmed that he is not a fan. But, of course, Wm had the time of his life.  He really enjoys going to church! The kids had their faces painted in Sunday School, but Wm came out clean faced.  I asked him why and he goes, "I'm just not a 'painted face' kind of person." Ha!

Then, any time I grumbled about a week of solo parenting has now been wiped clean off Cory's Marital Book of Woe (which always resurfaces when Steve has annoyed me) because Wm had a little friend over (and it was kind of a tough play date) - and Steve offered to take them outside to run through the sprinkler. Once they were out there, it was like Braveheart…waves of children running out in bathing suits to join the fun. Right about the time when I was like, "I SHOULD NEVER HAVE PROCREATED! TOOOOO MANY CHILDREN!" Steve announced he was taking the horde of kids to the playground and told me I should go to Target to get stuff for our trip. I knew I married him for a reason!!!  And suddenly the homemade cookies are back in play. Bonus: while I was at Target I found a disinfectant spray that kills 99.9% of germs. Take THAT, hotel remote control!!!
