Steve and I started dating 20 years ago today! 20 years! So old. And Steve turns 40 in 2 weeks! And here I thought we'd be 19 forever! Now when my students show up and are all, "my finance and I..." all I can think is, "YOU'RE A BABY! What!!??" But I was absolutely sure as soon as I met Steve that he was the one for me. And I've never looked back! (Steve may have peeked over his shoulder a few times!) We are celebrating tonight by cuddling up and watching French Kiss. A movie we watched a thousand times in the first few weeks we were dating ("watched" is code for made out like lunatics while it played in the background). Here's to 20 years!

We had a great weekend, where we didn't do much, but seemed to be incredibly busy. We got a lot done around the place, Wm had a friend over, and Suzanne and Graham came over for dinner on Saturday. I made Italian bread and it was a hit!
This week, we go on Wm's middle school tours. He's super excited!! Afterwards, we need to fill out the lottery application for the STEM school. It's not due until February, but better safe than sorry! I think Wm is getting a bit nervous as it all starts to seem kind of real. I have a pretty strong suspicion he'll end up at the Gifted Academy - with all his friends. Which is A-OK!
