Denver Bound!

Wm is getting very excited about his trip to Denver!  We leave next Thursday and will be gone until July 8.  I asked him last night if he wanted to get a present to give to Griffin when he meets him and he goes, "Yeah!  How about a squeaky toy?"  I was like, "Wm...he is a baby, not a dog."

We took Wm to the park last weekend when it was gorgeous outside.  Since they are demolishing the playground at the school (right on our street), we have to drive to some far away park.  It's kind of nice to explore other playgrounds, though!  Wm talked Steve into getting on with him:

Wm is looking very big these days.  I can't believe he'll be in kindergarten in only a matter of weeks!!  I am also REALLY looking forward to not paying for day care anymore!

Wm has discovered I have "hairy socks" that are very soft.  So he keeps stealing them out of my drawer and running around the house in them.  They are super slippery, so this usually leads to some sort of injury. But Wm is not deterred.

Suzanne is coming over for dinner Saturday and I am going to try my hand at making homemade tortillas for soft tacos and a French Apple Tart for dessert.  I will update with my successes (and failures).
