Steve has a tournament at work, so he's been a busy guy this weekend. To make sure he has some fun when he is home, we had a cookout over an open flame. It's finally cool enough that the mosquitos are gone and it's fun to sit around a warm fire. So we set up a picnic lunch in the way back of our yard and had hotdogs and s'mores cooked over the open fire. Steve had a great time sitting out there and drinking a beer by the fire and relaxing after working all day!

Daylight Savings Time ended at the right time for Steve! He got to sleep in an extra hour before heading back to work this morning. And it's a gorgeous day, so hopefully he is not having the worst time ever.
Wm, for sure, has been having a grand time. Yesterday, he dragged me to the park where we played Four Square, multiple games of HORSE, and tether ball. After that, I was exhausted, so Wm had a friend over to entertain him. Today, Wm and I went to Whole Foods and did the grocery shopping and then he went and played disc golf with Guy. We are about to take an Autumn Nature Walk in the ravine once we have digested lunch. He's making noises about forcing me back to the park, so I may have to arrange for another friend visit! Steve can keep up with that kid...I don't know how he does it! When I'm flying solo, I need an early bedtime!
